  1. Fill the water tank: Fill the water tank with fresh water and make sure it is properly inserted into the machine.
  2. Grind the beans: Grind the desired amount of coffee beans and place them into the portafilter.
  3. Tamp the grounds: Use a tamper to evenly press the grounds in the portafilter.
  4. Place the portafilter: Insert the portafilter into the machine and lock it in place.
  5. Select the shot size: Use the buttons or dials on the machine to select the desired shot size.
  6. Turn on the machine: Turn on the machine and allow it to heat up. Once it is ready, the machine will beep or display a message indicating it is time to start the extraction.
  7. Start the extraction: Press the start button to begin the extraction. The espresso shot will begin to flow into the cup.
  8. Stop the extraction: Once the desired shot size has been reached, press the stop button to end the extraction.
  9. Clean the portafilter: Remove the portafilter from the machine and use a brush to clean the grounds from the basket.
  10. Enjoy your coffee: Pour the espresso into a cup, add any desired milk or sugar, and enjoy your coffee.
