- Fill the water tank: Fill the water tank with fresh water and make sure it is properly inserted into the machine.
- Grind the beans: Grind the desired amount of coffee beans and place them into the portafilter.
- Tamp the grounds: Use a tamper to evenly press the grounds in the portafilter.
- Place the portafilter: Insert the portafilter into the machine and lock it in place.
- Select the shot size: Use the buttons or dials on the machine to select the desired shot size.
- Turn on the machine: Turn on the machine and allow it to heat up. Once it is ready, the machine will beep or display a message indicating it is time to start the extraction.
- Start the extraction: Press the start button to begin the extraction. The espresso shot will begin to flow into the cup.
- Stop the extraction: Once the desired shot size has been reached, press the stop button to end the extraction.
- Clean the portafilter: Remove the portafilter from the machine and use a brush to clean the grounds from the basket.
- Enjoy your coffee: Pour the espresso into a cup, add any desired milk or sugar, and enjoy your coffee.
