The drum in this industrial tumble dryer can automatically reverse its rotation once per minute. The drum is made of stainless steel and the exterior is constructed with a plastic-coated sheet steel. There is an air recycling system in place that helps to conserve energy. The machine has a large opening for easy loading of laundry. The lint filter, which can be easily accessed, is made of stainless steel mesh. The display shows the condition of the filter, indicating the amount of dirt that has been collected. Other features of the machine include overload protection, a soft start (only available on the EB 10 and EB 15 models), a direct transmission rather than a chain transmission, and an overcurrent protection switch on the motor. The EB 41 model also has a second temperature probe. After each cycle is completed, there is an automatically controlled cooling stroke (for permanent press settings) to make it easier to remove the laundry. As an optional feature, there is a payment system available, including an electromechanical coin meter, an electronic coin meter, and a central payment system (only available on the EB 10 and EB 15 models).
